Tap title to read story
Bill Maher criticized Larry David's New York Times op-ed, a parody of Maher's dinner with Donald Trump, which Maher felt inappropriately compared Trump to Hitler. Maher stated that invoking Hitler trivializes the Holocaust and that he didn't need lectures on Trump. David's essay, "My Dinner With Adolf," satirized Maher's monologue about his surprising encounter with Trump, highlighting a contrast between Trump's public and private personas. The disagreement highlights the differing perspectives on Trump's character and the appropriateness of such comparisons.
