The College of Cardinals held its first General Congregation following Pope Francis' death. Cardinals took an oath, read Pope Francis' testament, and outlined procedures for the sede vacante period. The Pope's funeral is scheduled for April 26th, and his body will be moved to St. Peter's Basilica on April 23rd. A commission of three cardinals was selected to govern the Church during this interim period. Daily Masses will be held as part of the Novemdiales, a nine-day mourning period.
