Tap title to read story
The second episode of "The Last of Us" season 2 shocked some viewers with a major character death, highlighting the difficulty of surprising modern audiences due to internet leaks and prior knowledge from source material. This mirrors similar situations in other shows, such as the impact of the Red Wedding in "Game of Thrones", which was less shocking to readers of the books. The ease with which spoilers spread online diminishes the impact of even significant plot twists for many viewers.
