Dave Filoni unveiled a concept trailer for Ahsoka season 2 at Star Wars Celebration Japan. The trailer, reminiscent of Empire Strikes Back's teaser, shows Ahsoka and Sabine racing against a new threat, possibly the Mortis Gods or Abeloth. Ezra, Hera, and Zeb face Thrawn's plans, and a mysterious Force-wielding Nightsister is introduced. Filoni also discussed his upcoming Star Wars film, confirming it's still in development, a large-scale project integrating characters from post-Return of the Jedi stories. The film's timeline is flexible, adapting as Ahsoka season 2 develops.
