Ryan Gosling and director Shawn Levy's new Star Wars film, "Star Wars: Starfighter," will premiere on May 28, 2027. The standalone film, set a few years after "The Rise of Skywalker," is described as a new adventure with original characters. Gosling and Levy revealed details at Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo. Casting is underway, including a search for a teenaged actor and two villains. Production begins this fall.
