Tap title to read story
The April 17th episode of ABC's 9-1-1 featured a thrilling helicopter chase scene culminating in a landing at the L.A. Coliseum, but the episode was marked by the death of Captain Bobby Nash (Peter Krause). The impressive stunt, involving real helicopters and a deadly virus, overshadowed Krause's exit from the show. A team, including Buck and Athena, successfully delivered an antidote, but Bobby sacrificed himself to save his team. The initial four-minute helicopter chase, inspired by Apocalypse Now, was shortened for broadcast.
