Amazon is developing a live-action "Pacific Rim" TV series, produced by Legendary and Amazon MGM Studios. Eric Heisserer, known for "Shadow and Bone" and "Bird Box," will serve as writer and executive producer. The series, based on the film franchise about giant robots fighting monsters, marks the inaugural project from Legendary's deal with Heisserer. This follows the success of the Netflix animated series, "Pacific Rim: Black."
