Treasury yields rise as Fed chief warns of impact of U.S. tariffs

US Treasury yields climbed Thursday, with the 10-year yield up about 4 basis points to 4.319% and the 2-year yield rising over 2 basis points to 3.815%. This increase follows Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell's concerns about inflation and economic growth risks stemming from President Trump's tariffs. Powell acknowledged a potential conflict between controlling inflation and supporting economic growth, but Deutsche Bank analysts believe the Fed isn't likely to react swiftly. Investors are awaiting further economic data releases.
