Tatooine-like planet outside the solar system may orbit two failed stars, scientists say

Scientists have discovered evidence suggesting a Tatooine-like planet orbiting two brown dwarfs, or failed stars, about 120 light-years from Earth. The planet's unusual, perpendicular orbit around the eclipsing brown dwarf pair was detected through changes in their motion. While not directly observed, the findings, published in Science Advances, indicate a potential exoplanet significantly different from those in our solar system. Further research is needed to confirm its existence and characteristics.
