Windows 10 PC can't be upgraded? You have 5 options and 6 months to take action

Microsoft's Windows 10 end-of-support date is October 14, 2025. No extensions will be granted. Users face several options: ignoring the deadline (risky), purchasing a new PC or Windows 365 subscription, switching to Linux or ChromeOS Flex, paying for Microsoft's Extended Security Updates (ESUs), or upgrading to Windows 11 (even if deemed incompatible, using workarounds). ESU pricing varies greatly; consumers pay $30 for one year, while businesses face significantly higher costs. Upgrading incompatible PCs to Windows 11 requires registry edits or using Rufus.
