Microsoft is expanding its Copilot AI assistant on Windows with new features. Copilot Vision, initially exclusive to Edge, now integrates with any Windows app, offering guided tutorials and analyses of screen content. A new file search function lets users query the contents of various file types (.docx, .xlsx, etc.) via Copilot. These features, currently in beta testing for US Windows Insiders, require only the Copilot app, not Copilot Plus, and will eventually roll out to all Windows 11 users.
