Apple turns to India to help ease Trump’s China tariffs

Apple is increasing iPhone shipments from India to the US to counter the impact of Donald Trump's tariffs on Chinese-made iPhones. At least 10 flights have departed Chennai carrying iPhones since the tariff announcement. While Apple is investing more in India, 80% of its manufacturing remains in China. Analysts suggest this is a short-term solution, with potential price hikes or pressure on suppliers likely. Moving production to the US is deemed impractical and astronomically expensive by experts.
