Yamamoto four-hitter evens World Series, Dodgers win

Yoshinobu Yamamoto authored a four-hitter, his second straight complete game and the first in the World Series since 2015, as the Dodgers beat the Blue Jays 5-1 in Toronto to even the series 1-1. He retired his final 20 batters, striking out eight. Will Smith drove in three, cracking a tie with a seventh-inning homer off Kevin Gausman, and Max Muncy added a solo shot. It was the first postseason game where two pitchers each retired 17 or more in a row. The Series shifts to Los Angeles on Monday, with Max Scherzer set to face Tyler Glasnow.
