Two more suspects charged over Louvre heist taking total to four

French prosecutors charged and remanded a 38-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man in the Louvre jewel heist, bringing the number charged to four. Arrested Wednesday with three others later released, both deny involvement. The woman, in tears at court, faces complicity in organized theft and conspiracy; a magistrate cited risk of collusion and public order. The man, previously known for theft, was placed in pre-trial detention. Two men arrested earlier partially admitted charges. The €88m haul from last month’s seven-minute power-tool raid remains missing, with lawyers calling some arrests indiscriminate.
