UGA Student Assaulted by Man in Nazi Uniform

A man wearing what appeared to be a Nazi uniform assaulted a University of Georgia student outside Cutters Pub in Athens on Thursday night, as patrons kept him outside while the confrontation unfolded, video shows. The student, 23-year-old Grace Lang, said she was struck in the face with a beer mug after trying to grab the man’s swastika armband, requiring four stitches. She identified him as Kenneth Leland Morgan, who was arrested early Friday on suspicion of two counts of simple battery and one count of aggravated assault. The university condemned the 'heinous antisemitic' act and offered counseling.
