US military kills three in another strike on Caribbean vessel

US forces struck another ship in the Caribbean, killing three men aboard, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said. Ordered by President Donald Trump, the attack targeted a vessel alleged to be involved in narcotics smuggling and took place in international waters. It follows strikes this week that killed 18, within a campaign since early September that has killed more than 62 people and destroyed 14 boats and a semi-submersible. The Trump administration has not presented evidence. Critics call the operations extrajudicial and unlawful; the UN human rights chief condemned the mounting toll as unacceptable amid a US military buildup.
