UK police say ‘multiple people’ stabbed on train, two suspects arrested

Police declared a major incident after a stabbing on an LNER train near Cambridgeshire sent at least 10 people to hospital, with nine believed to have life-threatening injuries. Armed officers stopped the train at Huntingdon and arrested two men; a witness said one was tasered. Ambulance crews, including three air ambulances, mounted a large-scale response as passengers described “blood everywhere.” LNER shut lines and urged people not to travel.
