Two men have admitted roles in the seven-minute daylight heist of the Louvre’s Apollo Gallery and were remanded in custody, the Paris prosecutor said. The stolen crown jewels, valued at 88 million euros, remain missing as two other suspects are still at large. Investigators analyzed more than 150 DNA samples and items left behind to track the group; one man was arrested at Charles de Gaulle Airport while attempting to fly to Algeria. Authorities say there is no sign of inside help. The pair could face formal investigation for organized gang robberies.
