Trump says government owes him money over probes

President Donald Trump said the federal government owes him “a lot of money” for past Justice Department investigations and asserted any payout would cross his desk. He was responding to a New York Times report that he filed administrative claims before being reelected seeking roughly $230 million over the FBI’s 2022 Mar-a-Lago search and the Trump-Russia inquiry.
