Trump Unveils Trade Deals, Pledges Southeast Asia Support

On his first day in Asia, US President Donald Trump announced a flurry of trade deals aimed at securing access to critical minerals and a market for US agricultural goods ahead of a critical meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Speaking Sunday at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Trump told regional leaders the United States is “with you 100%” and intends to be a strong partner for many generations to come.
