Spirit Airlines is cutting its November schedule by 25%, suspending approximately 40 routes, as part of a cost-reduction strategy amid its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. This move follows plans to furlough about 1,800 flight attendants. The airline aims to streamline operations and focus on profitable flights, with service halts announced for Hartford, CT, and Minneapolis. Spirit has also appointed a new Vice President of Network Planning, Andrea Lusso, formerly of Amazon Air.
