Dodgers, Blue Jays tied through five

At Dodger Stadium, Game 3 of the World Series is knotted 4-4 through five innings. Toronto surged ahead on Alejandro Kirk’s three-run homer and an Andrés Giménez sacrifice fly, while Tyler Glasnow exited after 4⅔ innings (five hits, four runs, five strikeouts, three walks). The Dodgers answered in the fifth: Shohei Ohtani’s third extra-base hit, a run-scoring double, brought home Kiké Hernández, and Freddie Freeman followed with an RBI single to tie it. Louis Varland struck out Will Smith to strand Freeman on second. Max Scherzer started for the Blue Jays.
