Paramount Animation president Ramsey Naito is stepping down as David Ellison’s new regime cleans house at the studio. Her exit comes amid roughly 1,000 cuts at Skydance-owned Paramount aimed at $2 billion in savings, alongside several senior departures. Naito’s tenure spanned reviving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (nearly $182M worldwide and $1B in retail), two Paw Patrol films (about $350M combined), and the animated push Transformers One ($129M). The pipeline she leaves includes Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie next Aug. 14 and other titles dated through 2027. In a note, she praised her teams’ creativity.
