Prosecutor says no sign yet of jewels taken in Louvre robbery, as 2 suspects are charged

Ten days after a brazen daytime heist at the Louvre, none of the French crown jewels have been found, Paris Prosecutor Laure Beccuau said. Two men arrested Saturday were charged with armed robbery and conspiracy; they partially admitted involvement and are believed, based in part on DNA, to have carried out the break-in. At least four people were seen on video, and investigators haven't ruled out a wider gang. Thieves used a cherry picker and cutting gear to enter a first-floor gallery and flee with pieces valued around $102 million. One suspect was detained at Charles de Gaulle airport.
