Early turnout shows Sherrill with edge

Nearly a million New Jersey voters have already cast ballots ahead of Tuesday’s gubernatorial election, Rasmussen data show: about 514,500 Democrats, 279,000 Republicans, and 177,000 unaffiliated voters. Analyst Michah Rasmussen says the numbers give Democrat Mikie Sherrill an edge over Republican Jack Ciattarelli, though the race remains competitive. Ciattarelli touts rising GOP turnout and support from Donald Trump via calls, while Sherrill promotes momentum, distances herself from Gov.
