Down by 31 on Sunday night, the Commanders kept quarterback Jayden Daniels in, and it cost them: he dislocated his left elbow on a tackle midway through the fourth quarter. After initially noting the play wasn’t a designed run, head coach Dan Quinn acknowledged Monday he failed to account for Daniels scrambling and took full responsibility. The Commanders are 3-6 and won’t have their franchise quarterback on the field anytime soon, leaving Quinn to get creative to salvage the season.
