Why LSU could turn to Lane Kiffin, Clark Lea or Kenny Dillingham to replace Brian Kelly

The Athletic reports LSU has fired Brian Kelly after 3½ disappointing seasons, tightening an already crowded coaching carousel. At a place where the previous three coaches won national titles, early targets include Ole Miss’s Lane Kiffin, Missouri’s Eli Drinkwitz, Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham, Vanderbilt’s Clark Lea and Tulane’s Jon Sumrall. Kiffin’s No. 7 Rebels are 7-1 and chasing the Playoff; Vanderbilt is 7-1 and ranked No. 9. Drinkwitz’s No. 19 team is 6-2 and down to a third‑string QB. Dillingham’s ASU is 5-3 after a Year 2 Playoff breakthrough, and Sumrall is 38-10 with Tulane in CFP contention.
