Chicago ICE Protest Met With Tear Gas

Federal agents used tear gas and pepper balls to disperse approximately 100 protesters, including two Democratic congressional candidates, outside a Chicago ICE facility on Friday. The protest, against "Operation Midway Blitz," involved attempts to block government vehicles. At least three protesters were arrested. Candidates Kat Abughazaleh and Bushra Amiwala condemned the forceful response, describing it as a violent abuse of power. Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton, also present, criticized the DHS's actions.
