Who was Thomas Sanford, the Michigan shooting suspect

The suspect in a Michigan church shooting, identified as Iraq War veteran Thomas Jacob Sanford, killed two and injured eight before being fatally shot by police. Sanford, a former Marine, also allegedly set fire to the church. While authorities have not released a motive, social media and past news reports reveal Sanford was a father dealing with his son's significant medical condition and an avid outdoorsman.
