Robert Preston Morris, founder of Texas megachurch Gateway Church, pleaded guilty to five counts of lewd and indecent acts with a child in Oklahoma. The abuse occurred in the 1980s when the victim was 12. As part of a plea agreement, Morris received a 10-year suspended sentence and will serve six months in jail. He must register as a sex offender and pay restitution. The victim expressed relief, stating "justice has finally been served."
