49ers' Fred Warner suffers season-ending ankle injury

In a brutal setback for the 49ers, coach Kyle Shanahan said Fred Warner dislocated and fractured his ankle and will need season-ending surgery. The All-Pro went down with 7:48 left in the first quarter on a 10-yard Rachaad White run, his right leg rolled from behind by teammate Ji’Ayir Brown.
