WNBA suspends Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve for 1 playoff game

WNBA coach Cheryl Reeve of the Minnesota Lynx has been suspended for one playoff game and fined for her conduct and comments following a loss to the Phoenix Mercury. The league cited her aggressive pursuit and verbal abuse of an official, failure to leave the court promptly after ejection, and inappropriate remarks to fans and in a press conference. Assistant coaches also received fines for their interactions with officials and social media comments. This marks the first known playoff game suspension for a WNBA coach.
