Authorities identified the big-rig driver accused of triggering Tuesday’s eight-vehicle pileup on the westbound 10 Freeway in Ontario as 21-year-old Jashanpreet Singh, arrested at the scene and booked on felony counts including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Dashcam video shows the truck plowing into slowing traffic as a car erupts in flames. Three people died — including former Pomona High School assistant basketball coach Clarence Nelson and his wife, Lisa — and four were injured. By Wednesday night, all but one hospitalized, including Singh, were released; he’s held without bail pending a Thursday hearing.
