Giants running back Cam Skattebo is recovering after surgery to repair a dislocated ankle suffered against the Eagles. Taken to a Philadelphia hospital Sunday, he has been texting with head coach Brian Daboll, who said Skattebo is in good spirits but faces a long road back. “All went well… he’ll be missed,” Daboll said via Giants radio’s Madelyn Burke, noting Skattebo could leave the hospital today. Skattebo, along with fellow rookies Jaxson Dart and Abdul Carter, had energized the team; his injury and Malik Nabers’ torn ACL have tempered that hope, with the Giants eyeing full-speed returns in 2026.
