Joshua Runkles, 42, was arrested outside State Farm Stadium near Phoenix, Arizona, on Saturday, armed with a gun and knife, for allegedly impersonating a law enforcement officer. The incident occurred before a memorial service for Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. While Runkles was initially described as exhibiting suspicious behavior, a Turning Point USA spokesperson stated he was providing security for a guest, though uncoordinated. The Secret Service, assisting with security for the high-profile event, took Runkles into custody. He has been charged with carrying a weapon in a prohibited area and impersonating a police officer and has since been released on bond.
