Bernard sparks No. 4 Alabama's late comeback

Alabama lived up to its unbreakable mantra, rallying past South Carolina 29-22 at Williams-Brice Stadium for a seventh straight win. Down 22-14 late, Ty Simpson (253 yards, two TDs) hit Germie Bernard for a 4-yard score with 2:16 left and found Josh Cuevas for the tying two-point pass. After Deontae Lawson stripped LaNorris Sellers, Bernard sealed it on a 25-yard direct-snap touchdown with 34 seconds remaining. DeShawn Jones added an 18-yard pick-six. Sellers threw for 222 yards and a TD and ran for another as the Gamecocks faltered late.
