Ukraine war briefing: Moscow voices ‘extreme concern’ at Trump threat to send Tomohawk missiles to Kyiv

Aboard Air Force One, Donald Trump warned he may send long‑range Tomahawks to Ukraine if Vladimir Putin won’t end the invasion, saying Volodymyr Zelenskyy requested them in talks on new arms. Moscow voiced “extreme concern,” while Belarus’s Alexander Lukashenko doubted the U.S. would follow through. Russia struck Ukraine’s power grid, wounding two DTEK workers; Zelenskyy said more than 3,100 drones, 92 missiles and about 1,360 glide bombs hit in a week, urged tighter secondary sanctions on Russian oil buyers, and reported gains in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk. A senior Ukrainian delegation will visit the U.S. this week.
