Democrats leave classified briefing on US military strikes unsatisfied after Trump administration pulls Pentagon lawyers

Democrats left a closed Capitol Hill briefing furious, saying the Trump administration withheld legal and strategic details about recent US strikes on suspected drug boats and pulled Pentagon lawyers at the last minute. They said they were excluded from a separate briefing given to Republicans. Reps. Seth Moulton, Jason Crow, and Sara Jacobs said briefers cited only Article II, lacked targets identities, and focused on cocaine described as a facilitating drug of fentanyl.
