Woman sentenced to 8 years for attempting to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh

Sophie Roske has been sentenced to over eight years in prison for attempting to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2022. Roske, who pleaded guilty, expressed remorse and apologized in court. Prosecutors sought a 30-year sentence, citing premeditation, while her defense argued she changed her mind and turned herself in.
