Multiple Injured in Oklahoma State Dorm Shooting
Multiple people, including at least one student, were injured in a shooting early Sunday at Oklahoma State University’s Carreker East residential hall. OSU police responded around 3:40 a.m. after victims reported the incident from off-campus locations. Authorities initially counted three victims, later confirming multiple, all treated at hospitals in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Police said a large private off-campus party had dispersed before some attendees returned to the dorm, where gunfire erupted. The area remains restricted as OSU law enforcement investigates. The incident follows a week of campus gun violence, including 10 deaths at Mississippi sites as schools celebrated homecoming.
