Lostprohets Singer Ian Watkins Dead After Prison Attack

Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins, 48, was found dead at HMP Wakefield after an attack in prison on Saturday, BBC reported. West Yorkshire Police said they were called about an assaulted prisoner and pronounced him dead at the scene. BBC said another inmate used a knife; motives remain unknown as a police investigation continues. Watkins, serving 29 years for multiple sexual offenses against children, had previously been attacked in August 2023, according to Rolling Stone. He was arrested in 2012 and jailed in 2013.
