Yoshinobu Yamamoto fired a four-hitter for his second straight complete game, the first in the World Series since 2015, as the defending champion Dodgers beat the Blue Jays 5-1 in Toronto to even the series 1-1. The right-hander retired his final 20 batters, struck out eight and walked none on 105 pitches. Will Smith drove in three runs, snapping a 1-1 tie with a seventh-inning homer off Kevin Gausman before Max Muncy added a solo shot. Los Angeles also scored on a wild pitch and a forceout. Game 3 is Monday night at Dodger Stadium.
