In his first public remarks since completing radiation therapy for aggressive prostate cancer, Biden urged Americans to stay engaged, praising federal workers, universities, comedians, and Republicans who push back. Citing a federal shutdown he said Trump is using to exert new control, Biden defended checks and balances and closed with a rallying plea to “get back up.”
