Diddy Combs Gets 50-Month Term, Release 2028

Federal inmate records show Sean "Diddy" Combs is expected to serve about three years of a 50-month sentence for two counts of interstate prostitution, with credit for time jailed since his September 2024 arrest; his projected release is May 8, 2028. A jury acquitted him of racketeering and sex trafficking after an eight-week trial. Prosecutors sought 11 years, but the judge imposed a $500,000 fine and five years of supervised release. In a letter, Combs apologized and blamed drugs and excess. Judge Arun Subramanian condemned his abuse of women and urged him to use a "second chance."
