Blue Jays designated hitter George Springer is out of the Game 4 lineup after exiting Game 3 clutching his right side, but Toronto is not expected to remove him from its World Series roster. Manager John Schneider said an MRI left Springer “hour-to-hour, day-to-day,” with options limited to playing or sitting on the bench. Bichette will DH, and left fielder Nathan Lukes leads off. The team hopes Springer can return later this week. Springer led Toronto with a 161 OPS+ this season and ranks among MLB’s top postseason power hitters.
