In rain-soaked Pyongyang, Kim Jong Un unveiled the Hwasong-20, a yet-untested intercontinental ballistic missile, at a parade marking the 80th anniversary of the ruling Workers' Party. Flanked by senior Chinese, Vietnamese and Russian officials, he vowed to build an invincible force and praised thousands of North Korean soldiers sent to Russia to join its war against Ukraine. State media showed tens of thousands cheering as missile-laden vehicles rolled by, including at least three Hwasong-20s, alongside shorter-range missiles, new tanks, artillery and drones.
