Paramount Animation President Ramsey Naito Exits Studio

Ramsey Naito, president of Paramount Animation since September 2021 and former head of Nickelodeon Animation, told employees she is leaving the studio, becoming the latest executive to depart as CEO David Ellison reshapes leadership. Her exit arrives the same day Ellison announced major layoffs following the August Skydance-Paramount merger, citing redundancies and a shift toward new priorities. In her memo, Naito praised the animation team’s collaboration and franchise work spanning PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Smurfs, Baby Shark, Rugrats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers, thanking colleagues while vowing to cheer them on.
