Noem rejects Illinois Halloween enforcement pause

Pritzker had urged a halt after reports that border patrol agents used teargas at a children’s parade in Chicago’s Irving Park, which ABC News said was captured on video. Noem criticized the request as “shameful” and defended agents amid rising threats. She did not address the raid. Pritzker fired back online, accusing her of condoning teargassing trick-or-treaters.
