Vance Criticizes Knesset Annexation Vote Amid Ceasefire

U.S. Vice President JD Vance condemned the Knesset’s symbolic preliminary vote backing West Bank annexation, calling it an “insult” and out of step with Trump administration policy as Washington presses to uphold a Gaza ceasefire. Vance announced a coordination center where about 200 U.S. troops work on Gaza stabilization, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he will visit it, appoint a Foreign Service official, and criticized the annexation push. The WHO reported its first medical evacuations since Oct. 10, and Israel’s Supreme Court weighed opening Gaza to foreign media, giving the government 30 days to respond.
