Shooting at crowded South Carolina bar leaves four dead

Four people were killed and at least 20 injured when gunfire erupted at Willie's Bar and Grill on St Helena Island, South Carolina, in the early hours of Sunday, officials said. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said four victims were in critical condition and the investigation continues as deputies seek possible suspects; motive remains unclear. Witnesses described bursts of automatic fire as patrons fled to nearby businesses. The bar, known for Gullah-inspired cuisine, did not immediately comment. Lawmakers Nancy Mace and James Clyburn called the shooting devastating.
